Well Tender Location
| Description: The primary purpose for this position is to maintain optimum production from assigned wells, performing required repairs and maintenance and recording meter/gauge readings on a regular basis. |

| Duties/Responsibilities: Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Monitor and record well head pressures and gauge tanks on a regular basis • Repair leaks and perform other maintenance as necessary to sustain production • Perform pipe fitting on wells and equipment as required • Perform monthly household meter readings • By-pass or unload wells to prevent interruption of production • Complete flow line tests • Heat oil to improve pipeline flow during winter months • Thaw frozen well heads and valves with methanol to maintain production • Spin and change well charts regularly and ensure that pens are recording accurately • Monitor rabbits for damage or wear and replace as necessary • Perform site maintenance including: general site clean-up, painting, mowing grass and weeding of assigned well locations • Work cooperatively with other key departments/personnel to continually improve the operations of AAI • Participate in on-call rotation & emergency calls • Perform other duties as may be directed by supervisor • Employee must attend safety training pertinent to this job description and must follow all safety procedures required by the company |

Qualifications:
• Ability to manage one's own time, ability to read and record production meter reports, ability to respond quickly to outside occurrences, and the ability to read a map or follow verbal/written directions • Skilled in the use of hand tools, lawn equipment in order to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed, consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one and skilled in decision-making by using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems • High school education or equivalent • 1-3 years of well service experience • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered |
