General Manager

Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the day to day operations of various departments, by being responsible for the management of production personnel including communication of company objectives, performance evaluations, policy administration.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Oversee production personnel to achieve company objectives through implementation of Atlas policy
  • Serve as liaison between Atlas marketing personnel and field
    Implement new technologies to improve production
  • Design or assist in design of all production facilities and projects and oversee all facets of construction
  • Prepare and audit production reports, charts/measurements statements, and sales/billing figures frequently
  • Trouble shoot all production related problems including but not limited to the areas of gas measurement, compression, well operation and dehydration
  • Work cooperatively with other key personnel/departments to continuously improve the operations of AAI
  • Assist with landowner issues regarding construction of sites and pipeline activities
  • Assist with personnel issue management
  • Estimate pipeline and construction projects
  • Demonstrate cost control for daily operations and projects
  • Evaluate employee performance
  • Work with EHS Manager on safety goals and performance
  • Work with APL Facility Engineer on planning and scheduling projects
  • Communication with the marketing department on upcoming outages and schedules them accordingly
  • Any other job-related duty as deemed appropriate by management
Qualifications:
  • Thorough knowledge of basic operation and construction process, Atlas processes and procedures, and knowledge of gas and oil production practices
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbally. To have the ability to create group team building
  • Skilled in the use of reading drawings and maps, and basic mathematics
  • BS degree and 15-20 years experience in the oil and gas production environment
  • 10+ years experience in the oil and gas production environment
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
